Compensation constante du CO2<\/sub> depuis la cr\u00e9ation de l'entreprise<\/h2>

Depuis que Covid-19 occupe toutes les cha\u00eenes d'information, un autre sujet, non moins important, est pass\u00e9 plut\u00f4t inaper\u00e7u. La crise climatique, semble-t-il, est r\u00e9solue depuis mars 2020, du moins dans les m\u00e9dias. M\u00eame si le manque d'int\u00e9r\u00eat actuel des m\u00e9dias dit le contraire, la crise climatique est loin d'\u00eatre termin\u00e9e. Au contraire, les \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre augmentent presque sans contr\u00f4le dans le monde entier - et continuent de modifier notre climat sur terre.<\/p>

Pour notre entreprise, la protection de l'environnement et la pr\u00e9servation des conditions de vie des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations futures sont au premier rang de nos pr\u00e9occupations internes depuis la cr\u00e9ation de notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9 en 2017. En tant qu'\u00e9l\u00e9ment de base pour une neutralit\u00e9 climatique maximale, nous compensons par exemple toutes les \u00e9missions de CO2<\/sub> g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9es par le transport maritime depuis 2017 en achetant des certificats \u00e0 notre partenaire P\u00f4le Sud<\/a>. Rien qu'en 2019, nous avons achet\u00e9 un total de 1 128 certificats g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9s par le projet de centrale hydro\u00e9lectrique de Xenamnoy au Laos. 1 128 certificats \u00e9quivalent \u00e0 la compensation de 1 128 tonnes de CO2<\/sub> - ce qui ne compense pas seulement les \u00e9missions g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9es par nos transports. En fait, il s'agit d\u00e9j\u00e0 d'une surcompensation significative.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Le projet de centrale hydro\u00e9lectrique de Xenamnoy<\/h2>

Le Laos est un pays enclav\u00e9 d'Asie du Sud-Est et compte environ 7 millions d'habitants sur une superficie de 236 800 km\u00b2. Au Laos, comme presque partout ailleurs en Asie, la demande d'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 est en constante augmentation. En raison de sa situation g\u00e9ographique, le pays dispose d'un \u00e9norme potentiel de production d'\u00e9nergie par le biais de l'hydro\u00e9lectricit\u00e9. Malheureusement, le pays ne dispose pas actuellement des ressources \u00e9conomiques n\u00e9cessaires pour fournir une \u00e9nergie propre \u00e0 l'\u00e9chelle nationale. Actuellement, les habitants du Laos couvrent leurs besoins \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques en utilisant du bois de chauffage. Cela entra\u00eene non seulement une augmentation des \u00e9missions de CO2, mais contribue \u00e9galement de mani\u00e8re significative au d\u00e9clin des for\u00eats tropicales uniques de la r\u00e9gion. Les for\u00eats tropicales sont cependant les \"poumons verts\" de notre plan\u00e8te - leur disparition alimente encore plus le changement climatique.<\/p>

Avec le projet de centrale hydro\u00e9lectrique de Xenamnoy, l'immense potentiel hydro\u00e9lectrique du Laos est d\u00e9sormais exploit\u00e9 pour fournir aux communaut\u00e9s rurales en particulier une \u00e9lectricit\u00e9 propre provenant de sources d'\u00e9nergie renouvelables. La centrale \u00e9lectrique utilise la force naturelle de l'eau qui coule pour produire de l'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9. La puissance totale de 14,8 MW est utilis\u00e9e pour alimenter en \u00e9lectricit\u00e9 les r\u00e9seaux \u00e9lectriques locaux.<\/p>

Depuis le d\u00e9but du projet, le bois de chauffage utilis\u00e9 pour la production d'\u00e9nergie a \u00e9t\u00e9 consid\u00e9rablement r\u00e9duit. Les for\u00eats et la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation du Laos se reconstituent lentement mais s\u00fbrement. Rien que cela est un r\u00e9el motif de joie - mais le projet accomplit bien plus ! La centrale hydro\u00e9lectrique contribue directement au d\u00e9veloppement durable sur place en am\u00e9liorant les infrastructures, en mettant en \u0153uvre un programme d'approvisionnement en eau pour la population locale et, enfin et surtout, en cr\u00e9ant des emplois. \u00c0 l'heure actuelle, 23 emplois ont \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9s pour la population locale, ce qui stimule sensiblement l'\u00e9conomie de la r\u00e9gion. Et pour \u00e9tayer ce succ\u00e8s, il faut des chiffres concrets : 48 000 tonnes de CO2<\/sub> sont \u00e9conomis\u00e9es chaque ann\u00e9e si l'on utilise de l'eau \u00e0 la place du bois de chauffage pour la production d'\u00e9nergie.<\/p>

Le projet Xenamnoy 1 est certifi\u00e9 selon le Gold Standard du gouvernement allemand, qui n'est attribu\u00e9 qu'aux projets qui conduisent manifestement \u00e0 la r\u00e9duction des gaz \u00e0 effet de serre et qui sont en m\u00eame temps bons pour l'environnement local et les pr\u00e9occupations sociales de la population.<\/p>

South Pole : La protection du climat pour tous<\/h2>
