Climate-friendly mobility in practice: eTaxi Austria relies on CNC parts from FACTUREE
The Graz-based high-tech company Easelink is developing „Matrix Charging“, an automated conductive charging technology for electric vehicles. As part of the „eTaxi Austria“ project, ten cab ranks and 66 electric vehicles in Vienna and Graz are being equipped with this technology - a unique pilot project worldwide. The aim is to enable the economical operation of electric cabs through automated charging directly at the taxi rank and thus pave the way for nationwide e-mobility.
Automated charging without driver intervention
The Matrix Charging System consists of two core components: the Matrix Charging Connector, which is compactly integrated into the vehicle underbody, and the Matrix Charging Pad, which is installed directly in the parking space. As soon as an eTaxi parks over the charging pad, the connector is automatically lowered and physically connected to the charging plate - without any action on the part of the driver. This eliminates detours to charging stations and uneconomical downtimes. Easelink is pursuing the long-term goal of standardizing this technology and preparing the automated charging process for autonomous driving.

- Sampling: Initial sample test reports (EMPB) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) for a smooth series release.
- Material & Laboratory: We provide material certificates in accordance with DIN EN 10204 (2.1 to 3.2). Depending on requirements, we provide welding certifications in accordance with ISO 3834 and laboratory tests by ISO 17025 accredited laboratories.
