Last Thursday, our very first "Procurement of Tomorrow"-Event in cooperation with Mercanis a great start! With over 40 committed participants, the premiere was a complete success and the perfect starting point for a new series of events dedicated to the most pressing issues surrounding the future of procurement. The participants discussed key issues relating to the future of procurement, digitalization and AI in purchasing.
The summer weather provided the ideal setting for an evening full of inspiration, knowledge transfer and lively discussions.

After the warm welcome from our CEO Moritz König kicked off the event with a captivating Keynote speech by Jan-Henner Theißen (targetP). He shed impressive light on how innovations can become a decisive success factor in times of crisis and how AI gives purchasing additional value levers and clout. An absolute must for every future-oriented buyer who wants to understand and utilize the current trends!
Talk & Tackle session with expert panel on innovation and AI in procurement
The keynote speech was followed by our interactive Talk & Tackle session. Here, participants had the unique opportunity to engage in intensive discussions in small groups and discuss the current challenges and pain points in procurement with our top-class experts. The focus was on how innovations and AI in procurement can offer real solutions, especially in uncertain times.
