Why FACTUREE Is Your Partner for Medical Technology Manufacturing
FACTUREE is your manufacturer of medical technology components. We manufacture medical components for surgical instruments, medical devices, diagnostic and laboratory systems, and orthopedic applications. With tolerances as tight as 0.01 mm, full traceability, and complete manufacturing from a single source.
CNC machining, laser cutting, laser welding, and additive manufacturing are all part of our service offerings. Our ISO 9001- and ISO 13485-certified network processes the materials needed by medical device manufacturers, whether it’s 1.4441, Ti-6Al-4V ELI, or PEEK.
Your advantages at a glance:
- Contractual partner with full liability: As the sole contractual partner, we bear full responsibility. We do not act as an intermediary, but as a direct, auditable supplier. You have a single point of contact instead of many individual suppliers.
- Data security & IP protection: We adhere to the ISO 27001 standards to protect your CAD data. Through strict anonymization, manufacturing partners never know which medical device they are producing.
- Full service documentation: For contract manufacturing of medical devices, we handle production, surface treatment, testing, and documentation. If needed, we can also supply the materials. You will receive all the documentation required for your quality management system and technical documentation in accordance with the MDR, initial sample test reports, and complete traceability.
- Security of Supply: Our anti-single-source strategy ensures your supply throughout the entire—and often lengthy—product life cycle of medical devices.
- From prototype development to mass production: Scalable manufacturing solutions with consistent quality. Prototypes and production runs in 9–12 days. No need to switch suppliers all the way through to mass production.

Our Materials for Your Medical Technology Manufacturing
When it comes to manufacturing medical devices, the right material is key. FACTUREE processes the full range of medical materials—FACTUREE processes many medical materials. These include steels for implants and instruments, titanium alloys, and sterilizable high-performance plastics such as PEEK and PPSU.
Each material is selected based on your component’s requirements for biocompatibility, sterilizability, and strength. The appropriate manufacturing process—whether CNC machining, laser processing, or 3D printing—is also taken into account. Here is an overview of selected materials.
Frequently requested materials
Stainless Steels for Medical Applications
Stainless steels are the standard material for surgical instruments and many device components. They are corrosion-resistant, easy to clean, and suitable for repeated steam sterilization. Stainless steel can be machined, laser-cut, and laser-welded with precision.
Frequently requested:
- 1.4441 (316LVM)
- 1.4404 (316L)
- 1.4021 / 1.4034
- 1.4542 (17-4PH)
- and much more.
Titanium alloys
Titanium offers a unique strength-to-weight ratio, outstanding corrosion resistance, and excellent biocompatibility. Machining titanium is challenging and requires specialized expertise. In medical technology, titanium is processed both through machining and 3D printing. For implant applications, the ELI grade in accordance with ASTM F136 is the standard.
Frequently requested:
- Grade 23 (Ti-6Al-4V ELI)
- Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V)
- Grade 2
- Grade 4
- and much more.
High-performance plastics
Medical-grade plastics are lightweight, chemical-resistant, and, in some cases, radiolucent. Materials such as PEEK and PPSU can withstand repeated hot-steam sterilization. They replace metal in applications where weight or imaging are important considerations. FACTUREE processes medical-grade semi-finished products with certifications such as USP Class VI or ISO 10993 from the manufacturer.
Frequently requested:
- PEEK
- PPSU
- PEI (Ultem)
- POM
- and much more.
Aluminum & Specialty Materials
Aluminum combines light weight with excellent machinability. It is ideal for device housings, frames, and mounts, and is often anodized. Silicone is used for seals and soft components. Medical device manufacturers use these materials for medical equipment, laboratory systems, and diagnostic systems.
Frequently requested:
- 6061
- 6082
- 7075
- Silicone (LSR)
- and much more.
