Why FACTUREE Is Your Partner for Robotics and Automation Components
FACTUREE is your ISO 9001-certified manufacturing partner for robotics and automation components. Whether in the automotive, medical technology, aerospace, defense, or food and pharmaceutical industries: Our manufacturing partners hold the required industry certifications—such as IATF 16949, ISO 13485, or EN 9100—and bring many years of experience to the table.
FACTUREE handles procurement and provides flexible capacity without any fixed costs of its own. This allows your team to focus on developing new systems.
Your advantages at a glance:
- Contractual partner with full liability: As the sole contractual partner, we bear full responsibility. We do not act as an intermediary, but as a direct, auditable supplier. You have one point of contact instead of many suppliers.
- Quick Guide to the Functional Prototype: Gripper fingers and end effectors often go through several rounds of development. We deliver functional prototypes quickly so you can start testing sooner and get them up and running faster.
- Cost-effective starting with a batch size of 1: In plant engineering and custom machine manufacturing, a wide variety of models and small production runs are the norm. Our network manufactures individual parts, small batches, and production runs at fair prices.
- Complete assemblies from a single source: You can order milled parts, protective enclosures, 3D-printed parts, and surface treatments all in a single order. Because our network manufactures these items in parallel, this helps keep your project deadlines on track.
- Data security & IP protection: We adhere to the ISO 27001 standards to protect your CAD data. We strictly anonymize your data so that manufacturing partners never know for which customer or facility they are producing.
- Reliable Supply Chains & Replacement Parts: Our anti-single-source strategy safeguards your supply chain. This also applies to reorders and replacement parts throughout the entire lifecycle of your equipment.
- From prototype development to mass production: Our production capacity scales with your order volumes, while quality remains consistent. We deliver prototypes and production runs in 9–12 days, without the need for new suppliers, all the way through to mass production.
Robotics and Automation Without a Purchasing Department: How CeiliX Sources Its Milled Parts
Customer: CeiliX Technology GmbH,
Industry: Intralogistics / Automation Technology
Relevance for: Robotics & Automation | Intralogistics | Mechanical & Plant Engineering
Performance: CNC-milled parts based on drawings, including threaded inserts and electroplated finishes, from prototypes to pre-production runs
Challenge: Frequent design changes without an in-house purchasing department
For the InfinityCrane ceiling automation system, CeiliX needed precision CNC-milled parts with tight tolerances, threaded inserts, and electroplated surfaces. The design changed with each round of testing, and the company did not have its own purchasing department.
Solution: An Interface for Manufacturing and Post-Processing
After each design phase, CeiliX sends the CAD data to FACTUREE and receives the components back with all specifications finalized, including threaded inserts and surface finishes. Prototypes can be reordered on short notice or re-commissioned with modifications. Any questions are addressed directly by a dedicated contact person.

What components for robotics and automation does FACTUREE manufacture?
FACTUREE manufactures gripper jaws, end effectors, flange adapters, shafts, gears, housings, workpiece carriers, protective enclosures, and frames for robotic cells. We also manufacture camera and sensor mounts, as well as chassis parts for AMRs and AGVs. You’ll receive a quote, have a dedicated contact person, and get your order delivered.
For which industries does FACTUREE manufacture robotics and automation components?
FACTUREE manufactures components for robots and systems in the automotive, medical technology, aerospace, defense, food, and pharmaceutical industries, as well as in mechanical engineering. FACTUREE is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001. Our partners, drawn from a network of over 2,000 manufacturers, hold certifications relevant to your industries, such as IATF 16949, ISO 13485, or EN 9100.
What is an end-effector?
An end-effector is the tool attached to the robot flange of an industrial robot—for example, a robot gripper, vacuum gripper, or screwdriver. It determines which task the robot performs. FACTUREE manufactures end effectors and their components—such as gripper jaws, adapter plates, and suction plates—according to your drawings.
What tolerances are possible for robotic components?
Through our network, we manufacture CNC parts with tolerances as tight as 0.01 mm. We produce fits for bearing and pin seats—such as H7—as well as flange interfaces in accordance with ISO 9409-1, based on your drawings. Upon request, we will provide you with a measurement report.
You can calculate fits using our fit calculator.
What material is suitable for gripper jaws and gripper fingers?
That depends on the workpiece and the load:
- Hard-anodized aluminum (e.g., EN AW-7075) is strong and lightweight.
- POM is gentle on delicate surfaces.
- 3D-printed PA12 is suitable for custom geometries and rapid iterations.
- TPU pads provide a soft, secure grip.
3D Printing or CNC Machining: Which Is Better for Robot Grippers and End Effectors?
For prototypes, complex geometries, and integrated vacuum channels, 3D printing is often faster and more cost-effective. For high rigidity, tight tolerances, and production runs, CNC machining is usually the better choice. We’ll work with you to determine which process is more cost-effective.
